Lower Secondary

To support growth and development in these critical years, Living Waters Lutheran College has developed a distinctive Pastoral Care program that provides students with a secure and community-like learning environment. Our dedicated and highly trained teaching staff are familiar with the specialised social and academic needs of adolescent learners.

The Lower Secondary School at Living Waters Lutheran College encompasses Years 7 to 9 in a vibrant and supportive learning environment, providing opportunities for discovery, creativity and innovation. Excellence in the classroom is encouraged and students are challenged to engage with their learning at all levels.

Students in each year level are immersed in a range of challenging indoor and outdoor experiences that aim to develop character, resilience and personal integrity. These programs culminate in their ROSTIA experience as a part of the Year 9 program.

Key learning areas challenge students to explore specific knowledge and skills, while developing higher order thinking skills and the ability to identify connections within the immediate and wider world. Beyond the classroom, students are encouraged to participate in all aspects of College life through involvement in sports, music, clubs and service to the community.
