Applications and Selection Process for 2027 and 2028

For students going into Year 7 in 2027 or 2028. 

Our Institute of Sport Basketball Academy Applications are now closed. 

Students new to the College and wish to apply for the Basketball Academy must (1) submit a College Enrolment Application and (2) submit a Basketball Academy Application.

Key Dates

For students going into Year 7 in 2027 or 2028:

  • Trial Date: Thursday 26 March 2026

Basketball Academy Details

Students who are selected into the Basketball Academy will receive two Basketball theory and practical lessons per week to develop their skills, techniques, tactics and decision making specifically for basketball. Players will be representing Living Waters Lutheran College at interschool, Rockingham Kwinana Associated Schools (RKAS) and independent college competitions, preparing them to be nominated to trial for the Western Australian Basketball League (WABL). Scholarships are available for this program.

Selection Process

Once the application has been submitted, our Basketball Coordinator will be in contact regarding the assessment process. If you have any queries, please email basketball@livingwaters.wa.edu.au. New students to the College will also need to fill in an Enrolment Application Form and email it to enrolments@livingwaters.wa.edu.au

1. An invitation to trial will be provided once the application has been assessed.

2. Students will attend the appropriate trial time for their group.

3. If the student is accepted into the Program, a student contract will need to be filled out and sent back before the end of  Term 3.
