Basketball Program
The Basketball Program is for students in Years 7 to 10. This program will provide students with the unique opportunity to combine both quality education and physical exercise, and each student year group will receive expert coaching through practical, theoretical and strength conditioning sessions.
Basketball Program Details
Students who are selected into the Basketball Program will receive two basketball theory and practical lessons per week to develop their skills, techniques, tactics and decision making specifically for basketball. Players will be representing Living Waters Lutheran College at interschool, Rockingham Kwinana Associated Schools (RKAS) and independent college competitions, preparing them to be nominated to trial for the Western Australian Basketball League (WABL). 2025 Applications – External Applicants Only
Trials have been completed for 2025. External students entering throughout 2025 will have an opportunity to apply for the program and will be assessed individually, pending positions available at the College.
Students new to the college will also need to fill out a School Enrolment Application Form

Year 7/8 Trial Date – Tuesday, 6 August
Year 7 in 2025 – 3.45pm-4.45pm
Year 8 in 2025 – 5.00pm-6.00pm
Year 9/10 Trial Date – Tuesday, 13 August
Year 9/10 in 2025 – 3.45pm-4.45pm

Selection Process
Once the application has been submitted, our Basketball Coordinator will be in contact regarding the assessment process. If you have any queries, please email basketball@livingwaters.wa.edu.au. New students to the College will also need to fill in an Enrolment Application Form and email it to enrolments@livingwaters.wa.edu.au
1. An invitation to trial will be provided once the application has been assessed.
2. Students will attend the appropriate trial time for their group.
3. If the student is accepted into the Program, a student contract will need to be filled out and sent back before the end of Term 3.
