Living Waters Lutheran College is proud to be a Netball WA Endorsed Netball Specialist School. We work with Netball WA to produce a comprehensive program in accordance with the Netball Australia Long Term Athlete Development Plan.

Living Waters Lutheran College is proud to announce that we are Tier 1 Netball endorsed schools in WA.
The objective of Netball WA’s Specialist Netball School Endorsement Program is to outline minimum standards relevant to the current athlete, coach, umpire and official pathways.
As a Netball WA Endorsed Specialist Netball School, we must be able to demonstrate and provide a successful program that covers all aspects of netball along with a holistic approach to student development.

Program details
The Y10-12 Specialist Netball Program is coordinated by our Specialist Netball Coordinator. This Program enables students engaged in high level competitive netball to develop specific technical skills and tactical applications in preparation for Association, State and State League Netball Trials. Places are limited and will include athletes with the best emerging talent in Years 10-12.
The Y7-9 Development Netball Program is coordinated by our Health and Physical Education Department. This Program is designed to support players who either have a strong potential for selection into the Specialist Netball Program when they reach those year levels or exhibit the potential to progress their Netball skills further in a Development Program. Places for this program are also limited.
There is an application and trial process for both Programs.
Students who are selected into the program will receive two netball coaching lessons per week with a focus on fitness, strength and conditioning, skill acquisition and court intelligence with the main goal being to improve athlete’s technique and performance on the netball court. Players will be exposed to Inter-School competitions and Carnivals to enable them to practice and consolidate the teaching and learning in the weekly coaching sessions. The program will also involve collaborative learning across year levels. Applications
2024 Applications – external applicants only
Trials have been completed for 2024. Athletes can still apply for the program and students will be assessed individually on a case-by case basis.
Once the application has been submitted our Netball Coordinator will be in contact regarding the assessment process . If you have any queries please email netball@livingwaters.wa.edu.au. New students to the college will also need to fill in an enrolment application form. and emailed to enrolments@livingwaters.wa.edu.au.

Trials
If you are interested in the program for 2023, please complete the Application Form and a Netball Coordinator will be in contact. Students will then be assessed individually for the program during training sessions for the 2023 intake.
2024 Applications
Below are the key dates for the 2024 Netball Program:
- Applications for new students starting in 2024 are due on Friday, 21 July. Please fill out an Application Form Here.
- Trials will be taking place on Monday, 14 August.
