Basketball Program
The Basketball Program is for students in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10. This program will provide students with the unique opportunity to combine both quality education and physical exercise, and each student year group will receive expert coaching through practical, theoretical and strength conditioning sessions.
Program details
Students who are selected into the program will receive two basketball theory and practical lessons per week to develop their skills, techniques, tactics and decision making specifically for basketball. Players will be representing Living Waters Lutheran College at interschool, Rockingham Kwinana Associated Schools (RKAS) and independent college competitions, preparing them to be nominated to trial for the Western Australian Basketball league (WABL). 2024 Applications
Trials have been completed for 2024. Athletes can still apply for the program and students will be assessed individually on a case-by case basis.

Trials
If you are interested in the program for 2023, please complete the Application Form and the Basketball Coordinator will be in contact. Students will be assessed individually for the program during training sessions for the 2023 intake.
2024 Applications
Below are the key dates for the 2024 Basketball Program:
- Applications for new students starting in 2024 are due on Friday, 21 July. Please fill out a Application Form Here.
- Trials will be taking place on Wednesday, 9 August.
