Basketball Program
The Basketball Program is for students in Years 7 to 10. This program will provide students with the unique opportunity to combine both quality education and physical exercise, and each student year group will receive expert coaching through practical, theoretical and strength conditioning sessions.
Basketball Program Details
Students who are selected into the Basketball Program will receive two basketball theory and practical lessons per week to develop their skills, techniques, tactics and decision making specifically for basketball. Players will be representing Living Waters Lutheran College at interschool, Rockingham Kwinana Associated Schools (RKAS) and independent college competitions, preparing them to be nominated to trial for the Western Australian Basketball League (WABL). 2024 Applications – External Applicants Only
Trials have been completed for 2024. Athletes can still apply for the program and students will be assessed individually on a case-by-case basis.
2025 Applications
Applications open for the 2025 Basketball Program – Friday, 19 April
Basketball Information Session – Tuesday, 18 June
Closing Date for 2025 Applications – Friday, 19 July
Year 7/8 Trial Date – Tuesday, 6 August
Year 7 in 2025 – 3.45pm-4.45pm
Year 8 in 2025 – 5.00pm-6.00pm
Year 9/10 Trial Date – Tuesday, 13 August
Year 9/10 in 2025 – 3.45pm-4.45pm
New students to the College will also need to fill in an Enrolment Application Form and email it to enrolments@livingwaters.wa.edu.au

Selection Process
1. Complete the online application form by 3.00pm Friday, 19 July
2. New students to the College will need to complete an application for enrolment: www.livingwaters.wa.edu.au/enrolments
3. An invitation to trial will be provided once the application has been assessed.
4. Students will attend the appropriate trial time for their group.
5. If the student is accepted into the program, a student contact will need to be filled out and sent back before the end of Term 3.
