Academic Scholarships

Students who will be in Years 7 or 10 in 2024 may apply for scholarships offered for a three-year period (Years 7 to 9 or Years 10 to 12, over the 2024/2025/2026 school years).

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence as determined by individual student results in the scholarship examination.

The examination is provided as part of the Australian Council for Educational Research’s (ACER) Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program (CSTP). It will be held at Living Waters Lutheran College on Saturday 18th March 2023.

Scholarships will be awarded when results are made available to schools. The number of scholarships offered will be dependent upon the number of applicants and their ability to meet the selection criteria. Scholarships offered can cover full or partial remission of tuition fees.

Successful applicants’ eligibility is reviewed annually to ensure scholarship winners continue to meet required standards.

Parents should read the ACER SCHOLARSHIP TESTS – INFO FOR PARENTS at the ACER website, before completing the registration. Of particular note are the sections on Test date, General FAQs, Preparing for the test and Results. Application cost is $110 (including GST).
