Junior School

Welcome from the Head of School

The Junior School educates children from Kindergarten to Year 5. With two classes in each yearlevel and 350 students at full capacity, the Junior School is a busy, thriving centre of learning within the College.

Our staff are dedicated to providing a caring, positive and safe environment as children begin their education. Within the Christian ethos of the College, children receive a well-rounded education. Daily devotion times and regular community worship nurture the child’s spiritual development. An early focus on Literacy and Numeracy, together with a balanced approach to all curriculum areas, provides children with a solid grounding for lifelong learning.

Junior School teachers understand the importance of this phase of education for developing a child’s character, along with a love of learning. They are experienced in assisting children to develop the social skills needed to grow personally, build a positive self-image and develop healthy interpersonal relationships.

The Junior School recognise the enormous part parent’s play in the education of their children and welcome parent assistance in classrooms, at all year levels. We look forward to partnering with you in the education of your child.
