In term one each year, applications are taken for year 5 and 7 students wishing to try out for  a General Academic or All-Rounder Scholarship for year 6 or 8 in the following year. Scholarship packs with detailed information are available from the College.

Who is Eligible?
Year 5 students entering year 6 the following year and year 7 students entering year 8 the following year. Internal and external students are all welcome to apply.

How Many Scholarships are Offered?
The number of successful applicants depends on the quality and quantity of the applications received.

What is Involved?
Applicants are not required to sit an examination for these scholarships. Rather they are required to make application by presenting an overview of their character and ability. Once this is completed, a 'short list' of applicants will be invited to attend an interview with the Principal and Head of Middle School.

What is the Selection Criteria?
Applicants will be chosen according to current academic standing and progress, a reputation for good conduct and attitude, evidence of their contribution to their current school, willingness to contribute to the Living Waters community, leadership qualities and commitment to achieve excellence in their chosen field. The scholarship selection process will be based on a written submission with copies of previous school reports and an interview.

What Do The Scholarships Include?
Both the Academic and All-Rounder Scholarships offer 50% off the cost of fees for two years, covering years 6&7 for the year 6 scholarship and 8&9 for the year 8 scholarship. In special circumstances scholarships may be awarded in excess of 50% tuition fees.

What is the Cost Involved?
A $30.00 non-refundable application fee to cover administration costs is applicable for each submission.

Each year the College offers full and half fee scholarships to a select number of year 10 students entering year 11 the following year. The scholarship entry exams are open to any student who is eligible to start year 11 the following year, whether already attending the College or wishing to attend the College. If successful, scholarships are valid for a two year period covering years 11 and 12.
